National News:

A quick email to advise of a few upcoming events. Don’t forget our next race meeting is Saturday 15 November from 4pm, for the last day/night event of the year. An extraordinary general meeting will be held during the driver’s brief to set the 2015 membership fees. Looking forward to seeing everyone for practice on the Friday night – bring along some meat for the BBQ!

Ignition Show Display

On the weekend we attended the Ignition South West car show by having a small display to promote our wonderful club. The event was a fantastic success as ALL PROFITS from the event are being donated by the organisers to Make-A-Wish Foundation - we are still waiting to hear on the outcome, but there were MANY people that came through the gate and entered their vehicles, so I’m sure it is a sizeable donation!

As a Club we feel the day was also a fantastic success with lots of interest from the public – especially from people wanting to get their kids into the sport – which as we all know, is what it is all about! Check out our Facebook page as I’ll be uploading some pictures to the page J.

Special thanks to Daniel Vidos for lending his kart for display as well as Mick Kenny and Jamie Flynn for bringing Brock and Ethan’s karts down, and spending the time chatting with the public. It was wonderful to get such positive feedback from the public.

ps Mick did a fantastic interview with Richie Howlett promoting our Club!!!
